Lilia Luganskaia (1990) a Russian born, Amsterdam based visual artist and photographer.

Artist statment:
Having a background in documentary filmmaking, I find inspiration in current events, reality and virtual world. My practice lies between photography and interdisciplinary installations. I use news, memories and daily observations as a my canvas. I employ cinematographic methods/approaches and practices to build new narratives and explore my ideas. I would rather describe my practice as intuitive, than rational. With my interdisciplinary installations I aim to trigger new comprehensions of contemporary, unveiling its poetical aspects.
